What’s more fun than putting everything flat to rebuild then his own universe, block by block.
Monsieur Café is not a musician, yet he composes. Monsieur Café is not virtuoso, yet his melodies are crazy.
He is an architect. Assembler. Composer. Builder of sound cathedrals in which incredible voices are played.
In this context, finding the perfect voice is crucial because it is she who will mark the piece of his loan. A tireless web freakster and a Soundcloud miner, Monsieur Café discovered an unlikely character with a deafening voice: Drea D’nur.
She does not sing on this unstoppable first single; she lives it. The transcendent. Take him high. Very high. Something is a crazy clash between the modern sounds of Monsieur Café and this ageless voice. There is something in this Something. An effective thing but also mysterious.
Mr. Café does not like labels much, to summarize we can say, that today he is rather in the electro but he discovered so many sounds in the vinyls that his father brought him back from his distant journeys that his tastes have no boundaries and his desires, no limits.
That promises an amazing first EP on a new label, Signature Records.

Nous vivons une époque formidable. Artistiquement en tous cas. Jamais la création n’a été aussi accessible. Les frontières tombent. Entre les pays, ça s’appelle la mondialisation. Entre les genres, les disciplines et les outils, ça s’appelle le progrès.
Abattre des murs, casser les codes et tordre la réalité, c’est le leitmotiv de Monsieur Café. Quoi de plus fun que tout mettre à plat pour reconstruire ensuite son propre univers, bloc par bloc.
Monsieur Café n’est pas musicien, pourtant il compose. Monsieur Café n’est pas virtuose, pourtant ses mélodies sont dingues. Il est architecte. Assembleur. Compositeur. Bâtisseur de cathédrales sonores dans lesquelles s’éclatent des voix incroyables.
Dans ce contexte, trouver la voix parfaite est crucial car c’est elle qui va marquer le morceau de son emprunte. Fouineur inlassable du web et mineur de fond de Soundcloud, Monsieur Café y a découvert un personnage improbable à la voix étourdissante: Drea D’nur. Elle ne chante pas sur ce premier single imparable; elle l’habite. Le transcende. L’emmène haut. Très haut. Something c’est un clash dément entre la modernité des sonorités de Monsieur Café et cette voix sans âge. Il y a quelque chose dans ce Something. Un truc efficace mais aussi mystérieux.
Monsieur Café n’aime pas beaucoup les étiquettes, pour résumer on pourra dire, qu’aujourd’hui, il fait plutôt dans l’électro mais il a découvert tant de sons dans les vinyles que son père lui ramenait de ses voyages lointains que ses goûts n’ont pas de frontières et ses envies, pas de limites.
